THE METAL PIT: How did you first get into metal music, and what was the first band or album that hooked you?
Marga: I grew up in a neighborhood where there were a lot of people who liked heavy metal music, but I really loved Iron Maiden thanks to my older brother.
What was the most memorable concert you’ve ever attended, and why did it stand out?
Baron Rojo in 1988, I was only 12 years old and I was shocked, but my tears only fall when Iron Maiden comes on stage, really no band has caused that feeling in my heart.
What’s your favorite metal-related memory?
There was a young man in my neighborhood who used a wheelchair. His electric blue tights were amazing. As a child, I would lean out of the balcony to watch him. The young man passed away, and Eddie will always be my crush.
What’s your go-to metal anthem when you need a boost of energy?
Wasted Years by Iron Maiden.
If you could attend any metal concert from any era, which one would it be and why?
I would have loved to see Metallica with Cliff Burton, I needed to see that young guy play bass.
Do you have a favorite metal festival?
Rock Imperium Festival.
Describe the online magazine FCK.FM?
It’s a metal paradise.
What’s a metal album you think every fan should listen to at least once in their life?
Iron Maiden’s Powerslave, a masterpiece.
Outside of Metal what are some of your other hobbies/interests?
I am passionate about Nursing.
